Thawing Instructions Your order from michaeljordansteaks.com will arrive flash-frozen and vacuum-sealed in Cryovac packaging, which preserves our steaks' quality and flavor. You may store frozen steaks up to six months, but to experience fullest flavor, thaw and cook them within thirty days of receipt.
Never thaw frozen steaks on your countertop. Leave them in their original, airtight packaging and place them in your refrigerator. Thawing time varies with the size of the cut of meat, but most steaks will be ready to cook overnight or within twenty-four hours.
If you're in a hurry, you can thaw your steaks in the sink under cold water. Again, leave them in their original packaging. Change the water every half-hour (this thawing method typically takes thirty to fourty-five minutes).
Once thawed, remove your steaks from their Cryovac packaging. You may then marinate your steaks for an hour on your countertop, or overnight in your refrigerator.
